Guests can check out The Sports Museum on Levels 5 & 6 of the TD Garden and the arena floor! Visit with Wally (Red Sox), Blades (Bruins), Lucky (Celtics) and Slyde (Revolution) as you shoot on the same basket the Celtics use. They will also have a retirement card for everyone to sign for David Ortiz, which will be the same size as Big Papi!

The Peabody Essex Museum will open four of their historic houses during Free Fun Friday: the John Ward House (ca. 1684), the Crowninshield-Bentley House (ca. 1727), the Gardner-Pingree House (1804), and the Ropes Mansion (1727). Admission is free; tickets to tour the houses are not required.

Upon arrival, please visit one of the ticketing centers along the street to receive a button that will give you access to the museum for the day. Museum houses will be open for walk-through tours of the first floors. Enjoy self-guided tours of the Homestead and The Evergreens from 10 am to 5 pm; Museum guides will be on hand to answer questions. On the grounds, visit the craft tent for Dickinson-related fun for all ages. Try the scavenger hunt through the houses and win a prize! Guided architecture walks, exploring the history of the Homestead and Evergreens, will be offered at 10:30 am and 2 pm. "Grounds of Memory," the museum’s self-guided audio tour of the grounds, will also be available all day.

Join a fun, wet day diving into something we all need – water! The museum was once a major hub in the Boston water system, and they've got the pumps to prove it. Explore water as it moves through our lives, and as we move it to meet our needs. You will look closely at pumping and filtering technology, build small engines, and, of course, get wet!
