Bridge Over Troubled Waters: Bridge Over Troubled Waters’ mission is to enable high-risk, runaway and homeless youth to achieve a healthy and productive adulthood through prevention, intervention, and education services. English for New Bostonians: ENB is a strategic, public - private - community partnership initiated by the Mayor's Office of New Bostonians established in 2001. This citywide initiative focuses the attention and resources of Boston's leaders and immigrant communities on meeting the needs of English For Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) in the city of Boston. Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts: Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts serves more than 45,000 girls ages 5-17 and 17,000 adult volunteers in 178 communities across Eastern Massachusetts with the mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character. Boston Scholars Program: The Boston Scholars Program provides educational opportunity to disadvantaged Boston-area students through scholarships and student mentoring. Lazarus House Ministries: Located in Lawrence, MA, Lazarus House serves the poor, sick and homeless of Merrimack Valley. College Bound Dorchester: College Bound Dorchester's educators work with diverse populations between 3 months and 80 years of age, including at-risk youth, newly-arrived immigrants and families struggling to provide educational support to their children. More Than Words: More Than Words empowers youth who are in the foster care system, court involved, homeless, or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business. Bird Street Community Center: Bird Street Community Center provides high quality, affordable child care and recreational, educational and developmental activities for children and youth in Dorchester, Roxbury, Mattapan, and Hyde Park. Center for Teen Empowerment: The mission of the Center for Teen Empowerment is to empower youth and adults as agents of individual, institutional, and social change. Adoption & Foster Care Mentoring: Adoption & Foster Care Mentoring empowers adopted and foster youth to flourish through committed mentoring relationships. |
