Fundraising & Stakeholder Engagement in the Digital World

The Highland Street Foundation recently held a seminar for non-profit organizations titled “Fundraising & Stakeholder Engagement in the Digital World”.  We were joined by One to One Interactive and Salera Consulting on October 15th at the City Year Headquarters in Boston to discuss digital media and how to best leverage these tools to increase non-profit sustainability.  To view the materials used during the seminar, please click here to view the PowerPoint Presentation click here to view a list of helpful resources.

The Highland Street Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals, but we've compiled a list of other resources to help our non-profit partners find funding and useful resources.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals represents over 26,000 members in 171 chapters throughout the Untied States, Canada, Mexico and China working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education, and certification programs.

ChangingThePresent.org This site allows non-profits to raise awareness of their work and helps connect non-profits and people seeking to make donations. It also features a tool for conducting fundraising drives to support a variety of causes.

The Foundation Center supports and improves philanthropy by promoting public understanding of the field and helping grantseekers succeed. This site is primarily focused on resources within the United States.

The Grantsmanship Center Funding Resources, from the Grantmanship Center, offers grantmanship training and low-cost publications to non-profit organizations and government agencies.

GuideStar, produced by Philanthropic Research, Inc., is a national database of U.S. charitable organizations featuring data on more then 850,000 IRS-recognized non-profits.
